Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund, the returned item must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received (including all accessories, manuals, and documentation).
  • Timeframe: The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order confirmation number is required.
  • Eligible Products: Refunds are available for most items, including electronics, computer accessories, toners, and audio devices, unless marked as "non-returnable" on the product page.

Non-refunded items include:

  • Opened software, downloadable content, or digital products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable" at the time of purchase.
  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

Refund Process

  1. Initiate a Return: Contact our customer service team at support@techplustores.com or via the "Contact Us" page on our website. Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Return Authorization: We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide instructions for returning the item.
  3. Return the Item: Securely package the item in its original packaging, include the RMA number, and ship it to the provided address within 14 days of receiving the RMA.
  4. Inspection: Upon receiving and inspecting the item, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund request.
  5. Refund Issuance: If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Refund Details

  • Refund Amount: Refunds cover the full purchase price of the item, excluding original shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item).
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product, incorrect item, or other error on our part, in which case we will provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will provide a prepaid shipping label and issue a full refund, including original shipping costs, or a replacement at no additional cost to you.

Store Credit Option

Instead of a refund, you may opt for store credit, which can be used for future purchases on our website. Store credit will be issued within 7-10 business days after approval and does not expire.

International Refunds

For customers outside Uganda, refunds will be processed following the same guidelines. However, any additional customs fees, taxes, or duties incurred during return shipping are the customer’s responsibility. Please contact our customer service team for specific instructions.
